Tracy Scull, PhD
Dr. Scull is a Senior Research Scientist at innovation Research & Training (iRT). She earned her doctorate in Developmental Psychology from Duke University. Dr. Scull’s research focuses on the prevention of risk behaviors in childhood and adolescence with a special emphasis on understanding how critical media analysis and interpersonal communication impact health decision-making. Over the past 12 years, she has authored or co-authored nine evidence-based prevention programs including the Media Aware programs for adolescent sexual health promotion and the family-based Media Aware Parent and Media Detective Family programs. Dr. Scull has conducted numerous research presentations and training workshops around the world on the topics of sexual health promotion and substance abuse prevention across adolescence.
